LIST OF DONOR AGENCIES

Below is a list of donor agencies or sponsoring organisations in the capital city of your country. Check in your local telephone directory or ask a colleague to locate some of them for you. We may not have their e-mail or website contact details in your country, since we are in Canada. It is much easier for you to check it up in your country. Work through your local telephone directory for contact details.

Please note that some of these organisations might not be represented in your country but you may do well to apply to those that are available, or any similar ones not stated above. As mentioned earlier, most of these agencies could be sponsoring projects right in your country and perhaps in your ministry, NGO or similar organisation. You need to look out for them and apply through them. There may be funds budgeted for training in your ministry or organisation. Please check with the various project directors and the Human Resource Development Managers.

Lastly, be reasonable in demanding the daily subsistence allowance or per diem allowance. When the amount is too high, the donor/sponsor may decline the whole sponsorship on the grounds that it is too expensive. Well, if you are sure that they can pay whatever amount you quote, then there is no problem. We wish you the best of luck in your search for funds to train at ICCD.
